Erin Pratt Honored by Westminster College

Erin Pratt, from Kansas City, Missouri, was one of a select group of students recognized for academic achievement, service and organization leadership at the annual Honors & Awards Program held at Westminster College in Fulton, MO.

She received the Gayle Nutting Miranti Award, which recognizes an outstanding upper level student who is studying the Classics.

"I was genuinely surprised and touched that the Classics department would choose me to receive the award," says Pratt.

Pratt is a Junior, majoring in Events Management and Classics at Westminster.

Over 20 different scholarships, fellowships, and awards were given at the ceremony held in the Church of St. Mary the Virgin, Aldermanbury on campus.

Westminster President Dr. George B. Forsythe delivered welcoming and closing remarks and Dr. Stephanie Krauth, Vice President of the College and Dean of Student Life, spoke about the importance of recognizing student achievements.

The Honors & Awards Program is sponsored by the Emerson Center for Leadership & Service and the Westminster Office of Student Life.
